Meet the SD Worx Assistant
In our private lives, we rely on apps that book flights, hotels and rental cars, all via one solution, with our agendas automatically synchronised with our smartphones. But at work, hiccups are common: personnel administration is handled through a jungle of tools and devices that don’t communicate with each other, which results in loss of time, higher error margins and a lot of frustration.
SD Worx Digital Assistant is a single tool that takes care of all HR administration tasks. Employees can use their trusted devices to chat with the digital assistant and easily request leave, reschedule meetings and set up out-of-office messages. It is a tool-in-progress, as we will keep developing and adding more features.

“Initially, we were looking for a tool capable of updating all our employees at once with a single push of a button. E-mail is an option, but our inboxes are already bulging, so many messages go unread. When we heard about the SD Worx Digital Assistant, we were immediately enthusiastic. Kim Boschmans: “Meanwhile, with no obligation, 244 active users have subscribed, which is just over half of our employees. As soon as the tool is fully up and running, we will actively encourage all of our employees to install the app. They all need to discover that the SD Worx Digital Assistant is a must to settle HR matters faster and easier. It is still too early for metrics, but I know from conversations that applying for leave is the most commonly used functionality. Other modules such as the sick note scanning also provide more time and comfort to our employees”.

The glowing testimony of SKF Logistics Belgium also convinced the HR Excellence Awards jury of the benefits of the SD Worx Digital Assistant. These coveted prizes are awarded annually to HR companies that excel at offering innovative services and bring significant added value to their customers. In addition, the general public – which votes online but without access to the contest file – also ranked SD Worx the top organisation in the ‘Best HR Services & Support Company’ category, leading us to win the gold award.

Winning an HR Excellence Award is nice, especially because the public has its say in which companies deserve to win. In other words: it is our customers and their employees who have helped lead us to victory several times. We see it as confirmation that our customer-centric approach is bearing fruit.
