Welcome to SD Worx
In 2024, we expanded our geographical footprint in Europe with five acquisitions. It was another leap forward in our mission to help customers - big and small, and operating in any industry - with their HR and payroll through our local expertise and advanced solutions.
Sheepblue
In March 2024, our subsidiary Protime acquired Sheepblue, a pioneering AI-based software scheduling solution that helps companies of all sizes automate workforce planning, streamline operations and improve employee satisfaction. Founded only in 2018 and based in Vienna, Sheepblue specialises in shift-based industries such as manufacturing and logistics.
With the transaction, Protime - which already provided AI-based workforce planning software tailored for the retail and hospitality industry - expanded its capabilities, offering automated scheduling and planning software for all types of workers in its portfolio of more than 5,000 customers. By acquiring Sheepblue, Protime has moved one step closer to becoming the reference name in time registration across all SD Worx countries.
Romanian Software, colorful.hr
At the end of April, we happily welcomed Romanian Software. With over 20 years of experience, this market leader in Romania for payroll and human capital management (HCM) has been dedicated to revolutionising how companies manage their most valuable asset: their people. Romanian Software develops and markets colorful.hr, a complete suite of in-house-developed payroll and HCM solutions.
As a result of the acquisition, we welcomed 160 new colleagues, supporting 750 employers with 200,000 employees. Consequently, we strengthened our position in Central Europe and expanded our offering of payroll technology to domestic and international customers such as Ikea, Starbucks, Louis Vuitton, Rewe, Altex, Cognizant and Pizza Hut. Romania now marks the 18th European country in which SD Worx has its own proprietary payroll & HR software.
TribePerk
With TribePerk we acquired the first real-time, cloud-based payroll and HR suite developed for the Polish domestic market. Founded in 2020, the fast-growing HR tech start-up offers an easy-to-use platform including payroll, core HR and time & attendance, supporting companies of up to 200 employees. We are convinced that we can grow the TribePerk solutions so that companies with up to 1,000 employees can benefit from it, too. In doing so, we continue strengthening our position in Poland, one of the largest economies in Europe. We can help any company doing business in Poland with their payroll and HR: SMEs with our own TribePerk payroll software, large enterprises via our SAP & SuccessFactors offering.
F2A
In November, we successfully closed the acquisition of F2A, Italian market leader in tech-enabled services in HR and payroll. We received the more than 1,200 F2A colleagues into our SD Worx family with open arms, along with the 6,000+ customers they support in HR and finance & accounting.
This transaction has been our biggest acquisition so far. It opens exciting new horizons to expand our offerings and allows us to support our customers with the best services in a truly integrated European market. We are thrilled to develop innovative solutions that meet the ever-evolving needs of the Italian and international markets.
TMF Jobs
SD Worx Staffing Solutions acquired TMF Jobs, a Dutch recruitment and temporary employment agency focusing on European cross-border workers. The newly acquired company also provides high-quality accommodation and transportation solutions for sourced employees.
With this acquisition, SD Worx Staffing Solutions reinforces and expands its presence in the Netherlands. It also provides an answer to the staff shortages resulting from a shrinking working-age population and limited inflow of younger people. Working with cross-border employment is a sustainable solution for companies who need a flexible workforce at peak times.
