International payroll made easy

It’s no secret that SD Worx is an ambitious growth organisation. So, how do we market our offering as successfully as possible in an ever-increasing number of countries and to an ever-broader audience? That’s the key question for our Portfolio Managers. As always, the customer is at the heart of their search for answers. This is how we expanded our offering in international payroll:

Tailored to customer needs

Broadly speaking, we define three categories of customer needs in the international payroll market, based on one simple question: does the customer have or want an HRIS system? These needs form the basis for 3 new offerings:


Mostly small companies taking their first steps into international business, usually in a neighbouring country, and looking for peace of mind and support.


Usually international groups with an HR system already in place that are looking for a single partner with whom they can collaborate and integrate in all markets.


Fast-growing organisations that are looking for a fully integrated solution for when they scale internationally.

All three offering categories share street pricing, managed payroll services and the same support model. It’s our local expertise that sets us apart from the competition. We have also bundled some additional services into easy-to-sell packages.

It’s the customer’s needs that matter, not, for example, sales volume or company size. That’s how we take the burden off our customers as much as possible within their contexts.

This new service model is crystal clear, both for our customers and internally, with transparent pricing, which makes it attractive to sell and buy. In 2023, we welcomed more than 450 new international customers.

Ready for the future

This new packaged offering has now been rolled out in all SD Worx countries – we cover almost the whole of Europe – and local expertise is present and accessible.

Thanks to its scalability, we can easily launch this offering in new international markets. We have just one end goal everywhere: to offer the same, excellent customer experience in all countries.
