Our sustainable mobility policy
SD Worx has adopted a sustainable mobility policy. For short-distance commuting and business travel, we encourage sustainable alternatives, including walking, cycling and public transport.
The Flex Income Plan™, our flexible remuneration package, empowers employees to design their own remuneration plans. Many choose to exchange their company cars for more sustainable alternatives. In 2018, for instance, SD Worx Belgium paid bicycle allowances for 1,072,725 kilometres. That is 4,290 kilometres per working day on average. Initiatives were also launched by the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work to promote the use of alternative modes of transportation.
